VTC qualified 15 athletes for the 2013 AAU or USATF Junior Olympics, qualifying in 31 different events! What an accomplishment! Hard work pays off!

More than 650 Jefferson City 4th and 5th grade boys and girls converged on Adkins Stadium on May 4, 2013 to participate in the 64th Annual Little Olympics. VTC athletes Kara Beckett, Alex Burkhead, and Jackson Careaga each participated, representing their individual elementary schools. Congrats to each of you, we are very proud of your accomplishments!

First Annual Velocity Track Club Cross Country Invitational
The First Annual Velocity Track Club Cross Country Invitational was held at County Park in Jefferson City, Missouri on October 23, 2010. While it was a very windy day, the rain held out and the meet was a huge success. Youth from across mid-Missouri participated and everyone had a great time. We would not have been able to do this without our wonderful sponsors. Results are posted below. Pictures can be found in our photogallery. Velocity Track Club athlete Kara Beckett competes at AAU Cross Country National Championship
On December 4, 2010 Kara Beckett, 8 year old Velocity Track Club athlete, competed in the 2010 AAU Cross Country National Championships held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Florida. Kara ran an outstanding 8:37 and finished 22nd overall, bringing home a National AAU medal. Kara worked hard to get to this level of competition and we couldn't be more proud of her. Great work Kara!
